Egy kedves ismerősöm rendezte ezt a rövidfilmet, mindenképp érdemes megnézni. Gyönyörű fényképezés, vágások, képi világ, zene. A történet meg rossz nem lehet, hisz Móricz Barbárok című novellája volt az ihlető. (Nekem személyes kedvencem volt az író is, meg pont ez a történet)

Nem hiszem el, mit találtam böngészés közben! A százezer éves Commodore Világ bescannelt változatai, egészen az 53. számig. Annó az ember sza*rá röhögte magát Covboy levrovján és leírásain, képes voltam együltőmben kiolvasni egy-egy számot.

Nemrég ismerkedtem meg eme kiváló amerikai zenekarral. Lehet fogalmam se lett volna a létezésükről, ha nem látom a "kettőnégyben" a róluk készült műsort. Maga zenekar műfajilag talán prog rock, a 70es évek zenei világára emlékeztető hatásokkal, csak mai modern hangszerelésben, de ezt eléggé egyedi a stílusban tálalva. (Led Zep, Rush, Pink Floyd, Queen) . Az énekes kérdése egy külön téma, tipikusan olyan hangja van, hogy vagy bejön valakinek egyből, vagy emiatt hányigert is kap a zenekartól. Nálam egyből beütött. Szövegileg, meg egy albumokon átívelő monumentális sci-fi történetet kapunk.

Tenacious D - The Government Totally Sucks

Vidámat, vidámat, vidámat! Ez lebegett a szemeim előtt, mikor erre a dalra esett a választásom, meg persze nem véletlenül rendeltem meg a tengerentúlról a zenekar pólóját. Nem túl hosszú, viszont annál velősebben kimondja az igazságot. :-) A Tenacious D második albumán jelent meg, viszont a zenekar nevét viselő filmben sajnos csak a kimaradt jelenetek között tekinthetjük meg.

Kis magyar valóság
Itt meg lehet tekinteni, kik is nyerték az állami támogatások zömét a PANKKK kertében. Jó, van sok zenekar akinek ok a támogatás, de mit keresnek itt olyan profi, kiemelt zenekarok mint a Kiscsillag, The Moog, Depresszió, Heaven Street Seven, Colorstar, Hiperkarma... stb., akiknek semmi szükségük erre???

Aludni úgysem tudok, egész nap dolgozni fogok, ráadásul kora reggeltől, úgyhogy inkább elszórakozom a második számmal a blog történelmében(haha). És ha már méltattam az előző bejegyzésben a The Ocean-tól a Precambrian albumot, akkor álljon itt a cd-ről az egyik kiváló track.

Koncertajánló
Ide mindenféleképp elnézek, 2007 egyik legjobb albumát tette le az asztalra a The Ocean, és még sosem láttam őket élőben. A WMD-t meg már ölég sokszor, viszont minden egyes koncert hatalmas élmény.

Rögtön elsőként kedvenc zenekaromtól 1969-ből:
"egy szenvedélyes, érzelmekkel teli blues, a "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You". Page akusztikus gitárral kíséri Plant énekét, ezt a rendkívül átélt szerelmi pokoljárást, melyről joggal írta egyik méltatója ezt a sokat idézett mondatot: "Robert Plant elkínzott sziréna-jajveszékelése tette valóssá és kézzelfoghatóvá minden férfi fájdalmát, aki valaha átélte az asszonyi gonoszságot."
