Arra jöttem rá, hogy manapság egy jó koncert a barátokkal, ( és nem barátokkal) a legjobb dolog. Heh, remélem ez nem túl "nyálas" duma. Ha igen, akkor rúgjatok fel. :D Az a baj hogy manapság túlságosan szentimentális vagyok. Dehát ez van.

Tristania - My Lost Lenore

Egy 10 éves album emlékére. Sajnos a Tristania sosem tudott kitörni a másodvonalról, de azért az első 3 albumuk máig klasszikus. Ez a nóta az elsőről van, a 98-as Widow's Weeds -ről. (Úristen, hogy telik az idő) Szerencsére őket is láttam már élőben pár éve, még Vibekével. Az új női énekest mostanában mutatták be.

Hopp, most egy finn zenekar, mert mindannyian tudjuk, hogy a legjobb zenekarok északról jönnek. :-) Nem mellesleg szeretjük a hörgés-tiszta énekes váltásokat, pláne ha a zene is jó mellette. Élőben is láttam őket, legutóbb az A38-on és mondhatni baromira ütöttek színpadon is.

(Nem ide tartozik csak annyiban, hogy északiak ők is: Most, hogy a svédek kiestek az EB-ről, nyugodtan elmondhatjuk, hogy fociban már nem olyan jók, mint pár éve, de azért még mindig ők a death/black metal braziljai. :-D)

Hurt - Summers Lost

Egy kiváló nóta, egy nagyon jó amerikai bandától. Stílusilag talán a Tool és az A Perfect Circle nevű zenekarokra hajaz. Persze nem 100%-osan koppintják, de felfedezhetőek a stílusjegyek. Zúzós részek keverednek az akusztikus részekkel, és ezt mi nagyon szeretjük. Szöveg is jó, sőt...

Heh. Régi klasszikus megint. Nem mellesleg azért jutott eszembe, mert a kedvenc King filmadaptációm a Végítélet (The Stand) most ment le a TV3-on, és ez az első rész intrójának a zenéje. Sűrű hét lesz koncertügyileg. Kedden RATM tribute ZP-ben, pénteken Tankcsapda (hehe, ezer éve nem láttam őket saját koncerten, de az ingyenjegy az ingyenjegy. :-)) a PECSÁban, szombaton Alsóörsön a Harley találkozó keretében Gary Moore. Vasárnap? Haldoklás...

Sigur Rós - Gobbledigook

"Megvettem" az új Sigur Rós-t. Vidámabb hangulatú az előző albumoknál, de kiváló. Megint. Hippiknek kötelező. :-) Ha valaki nem ismerné őket, röviden jellemezném: post-rockos, elszállós, pszichedelikus típusú zenét játszanak az izlandiak.

A klipp zseniális lett: (bár tuti le fogják venni youtube-ról, azért próbálom majd frissíteni.)

Okés. Mára egy fokkal "keményebb" nótát. És ha már télen jönnek hozzánk, akkor miért is ne tőlük? Írország legjobb bandája kétség kívűl 2007 egyik legjobb lemezét tette le az asztalra tavaly. (To The Nameless Dead). SZVSZ a pagan, folk vonalon most ők a legjobbak Moonsorrow-on, Finntroll-on, Ensiferum-on, stb.-n keresztül. Pár éve a Wigwamban volt szerencsém látni őket élőben is, és hát mondhatom a mai napig benne van a TOP5 koncertben, pedig voltam már páron. :-) Bukjanak hát a birodalmak!

Sziget

Végre kikerült egy részletesebb lista a sziget.hu -ra a fellépőkről. Tudtam, éreztem, hogy idén nem úszom meg ütközések nélkül, tavaly olyan jól összejött minden. Konkrétan Nevergreen - Led Zep tribute üti egymást félig, és a Meshuggah az Isten Háta Mögöttet. Aqurvaéletbe!

Majd később, ha lesz időm kiposztolom a tervezett programomat. Addig is megpróbálkozom az osztódással. :-)

Terry Reid - Dean

Egy gyöngyszem 1971-ből. Terry Reid aki visszautasította a Deep Purple és Led Zeppelin zenekarokat is, mikor felkérték frontemberi posztra. Nem is lett annyira híres sosem, pedig kurva jó hangja van. A videón, szám közben nagyon jó életképeket láthatunk. (haha) Szövegét megszakadásig kerestem, de sajna nem találtam.

Szerettem volna ezekben az időkben élni. (60as-70es évek) Pont. Most nincs kedvem kifejteni miért.
